Everactive to Share Batteryless Expertise at AEE Energy World and Industrial IoT World
SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Everactive, the company pioneering wireless, batteryless Internet of Things (IoT) systems, today announced it will attend the AEE Energy World conference and the Industrial IoT World conference to share its batteryless expertise.
The AEE Energy World conference will take place September 25-27, 2019 at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington D.C. The Association of Energy Engineers (AEE) brings together energy professionals from commercial business, government, institutional, and industry sectors to explore the latest in energy management and energy efficiency.
Everactive Director of Product Marketing & Corporate Communications, Brian Alessi, will speak at the conference on Thursday, September 26th at 10:30 am ET, in a session entitled “Self-Powered Sensors Maximize Energy Savings & ROI.” During the session, Alessi will present the reasons that batteries present a fundamental barrier to impactful IoT deployments and demonstrate how batteryless wireless sensors from Everactive overcome that barrier.
“Inevitable battery replacements force plant operators to essentially trade one maintenance event – manual system monitoring – with sensor battery replacement, shrinking the potential ROI for those sensor deployments,” said Alessi. “Everactive’s extremely energy efficient sensors run entirely off harvested power so that operators can spend maintenance effort only when and where required, as alerted by Everactive sensors, without ever having to purchase or dispose of environmentally harmful batteries again.”
Everactive’s complete IoT solutions – from sensor hardware to cloud-based software – allow customers to continuously monitor a range of industrial assets that were previously too expensive or dangerous to connect into the Industrial Internet. Everactive’s actionable alerts enable quick intervention that can generate significant savings.
The company will also showcase its batteryless technology at the Industrial IoT World conference, taking place October 31 – November 1, 2019 at the Sheraton Atlanta Hotel in Atlanta, GA. Everactive will exhibit in booth 400.
Everactive’s batteryless sensors are currently focused on monitoring components of steam systems, including steam traps. The company’s next-gen product builds in the ability to monitor vibrating equipment. For more information, visit the company’s website.
Everactive produces data intelligence for the physical world. Operating without batteries, the company’s always-on wireless sensor networks deliver continuous cloud-based analytics at a scale not possible with battery-powered devices. Everactive’s end-to-end solutions are built upon groundbreaking advances in ultra-low-power circuit design and wireless communication that allow the company to power its Eversensors exclusively from harvested energy. The company has also developed the required networking and cloud software to deliver an out-of-the-box service focused on providing customers with valuable insights from its newly generated and self-sustaining data streams.
