Everactive Named to the 2022 CB Insights’ Advanced Manufacturing 50 List

Everactive recognized for achievements in IIoT Infrastructure Innovation

NEW YORK, July 27, 2022CB Insights named Everactive to its first-annual AM 50 ranking, showcasing the 50 most promising private advanced manufacturing companies in the world.

“This initial cohort of the AM 50 includes a wide range of companies at different stages of maturity, product development, and funding. Collectively, they are working on everything from factory analytics and artificial intelligence to industrial internet of things cybersecurity,” said Brian Lee, SVP of CB Insights’ Intelligence Unit. “We’re excited to watch the companies on this year’s list continue to grow and further create operational efficiencies that will have meaningful impact across industries.”

“We consider ourselves serious players in the IIoT infrastructure landscape” said Bob Nunn, CEO of Everactive. “CB Insights continues to share thoughtful discourse and insights around the companies changing the world with technology; we’re thrilled to be included in the inaugural AM 50 list and to continue to expand Everactive’s self-powered IoT platform for developers and end users alike.”

Utilizing the CB Insights platform, the research team picked 50 private market vendors from a pool of over 6,000 companies, including applicants and nominees. They were chosen based on factors including R&D activity, proprietary Mosaic scores, market potential, business relationships, investor profile, news sentiment analysis, competitive landscape, team strength, and tech novelty. The research team also reviewed hundreds of Analyst Briefings submitted by applicants.

Everactive’s proprietary ultra-low-power technology is the transformational foundation for completely batteryless and wireless IoT solutions. Requiring up to 1,000x less power than competing products, Everactive’s real-time asset monitoring devices operate entirely—and continuously—from low levels of “harvested energy.” Wireless IoT sensors that never require batteries can be deployed at a scale not possible with conventional sensors in order to generate massive new data sets that unlock high-value insights for enterprises, reduce carbon emissions, and save money along the way.
