In the past, Anheuser-Busch manually audited its plant steam systems. This provided some information, but without continuous monitoring, the process still left maintenance and facilities teams with an incomplete perspective of the steam system. To address this, Anheuser-Busch installed Everactive’s Steam Trap Monitoring (STM) sensors to autonomously monitor and detect anomalies and improve the efficiency of its brewing operations.
In less than 6 months with Everactive’s STM system in place, Anheuser-Busch’s flagship breweries have identified thousands of dollars in potential steam system energy savings equivalent to 1.2% reduction in fuel usage, and the potential removal of 7,561 tons of CO2 from our atmosphere per year.
